Hungarian Polish Conference Krakow

As the academic year started I have taken part in Conference commited to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Pope John Paul II election - it was also devoted to the impact of it in the now Post Communist region of Europe and organised by Polish and Hungarian Institutes of National Remebrance. (Today they have session day in Budapest).
It was in cooperation also with Jagiellonian University 's Auditorium Maximum hall and we could also practice our listening skills of English as well as listen to international panel of speakers among whom there were some Hungarians. The sessions were on the topic of the role which the pontiff has had on the countries and Churches of the Soviet bloc e.g. dr hab Csaba Szabo said something about the reaction of the world to the election of JP II whereas prof. Zaryn told us about the significance of his pontificate for Poland and the world.
As the day of anniversary is coming I recommend two hymns of the World Youth Days that the Pope initiated - from Rome and from Poland.
