We, students of I LO in Kielce, went to Majdanek Concentration Camp in Lublin.
We wanted to learn more about something so important in World’s history and main subject of our project - Holocaust. A 4 hour long lesson and workshops in Majdanek was full of unbelievable facts and emotions. To see the place where so many people from our entire continent were hurt was so painful and touching for ourselves, but very informative and valuable too. After seeing museum and whole place we had been working in groups, describing exhibits and wondering about their stories. Some of them were really incredible and breathtaking.
After all that we went to the Old Town in Lublin. We saw beautiful Lublin Castle and had some free time, in which we could get lost in colorful and vibrant streets of Lublin.
